Paralegal Raisa Leal is also an active licensed attorney in Brazil, and her unique background brings an international and sophisticated perspective to the practice. In addition to earning her Juris Doctor Degree and conducting postgraduation work in Brazil, Raisa has earned a Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) from the University of San Diego.

Raisa’s legal background has led to her immigration to the United States of America, where she has seamlessly provided significant support to attorneys representing clients in a wide variety of legal matters, including intellectual property, civil litigation, business law and contracts.

Working side-by-side with attorney Jim Crosby, Raisa handles all types of civil business litigation, and she further supports Jim by employing an organized, high-touch and deadline-driven approach to her relationships and communications with the firm’s clients.

As an attorney in Brazil, Raisa was also involved in a special pro bono program through the Brazilian Bar Association where she provided legal assistance to individuals and families who were not able to afford legal services. In addition to English, Raisa is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.
